Using Brick

Workouts and device export

Session detail, exporting to devices, auto-push, and move / skip / complete actions.

Open any planned session from the calendar to see the full prescription: intervals, purpose, cues, fueling, and load.

Session detail

Interval charts and step lists show warmup, work, recoveries, and cooldown with intensity as a fraction of threshold. Read the purpose and intended adaptation before you start — that is the coaching intent.

Device export

Export structured workouts (for example .FIT / .ZWO and provider push where connected) so your watch or head unit guides the session. Garmin athletes typically push via intervals.icu. See Connections.

Auto-push tomorrow

In Settings → Connections, turn on Auto-push tomorrow's workoutwhen intervals.icu (or Karoo) is connected. Each night Brick sends only the next day's structured session — not the whole week — so mid-week plan changes stay accurate.

  • If you apply a proposal or move/skip tomorrow's session, Brick re-syncs the watch.
  • Rest days and unstructured sessions are not pushed.
  • Manual "Push to Garmin" and .FIT / .ZWO download still work for any day.
  • Garmin may take a few minutes to show the workout after intervals.icu receives it.

Move, skip, complete

  • Move — reschedule when life happens; watch spacing tips.
  • Skip — mark untrainable; key skips may trigger a reprioritize proposal.
  • Complete — mark done when you trained without a sync, or confirm after sync.
