Readiness, check-ins, and proposals

How daily readiness works and what each adaptive proposal means for your week.

Daily readiness is a 0–100 score that blends wellness and training context. High readiness can unlock a step-up proposal; low readiness can unlock a step-down. Either way, you approve the change.

What goes into readiness

Signals can include overnight wellness (HRV, resting heart rate, sleep), your subjective check-in, fueling context, recent quality-session compliance, and load stress. Exact weights are proprietary; what matters for you is the completeness state:

  • Complete — overnight wellness synced; fullest picture.
  • Subjective only — check-in without device wellness.
  • Pending — baseline until enough signal arrives; adaptation proposals stay conservative.

Wellness-driven coaching requires active health-data consent. Privacy and consent.

Check-ins

Morning check-ins fill gaps when devices are offline and give the coach how you actually feel. Use them — especially on travel or after poor sleep.

Proposal types

  • Step up / step down — slightly harder or easier next quality work based on readiness.
  • Ease week — soften after big load or accumulated fatigue.
  • Reprioritize — rescue a missed key session elsewhere in the week.
  • Week rebalance — surgical move, skip, or ease for the rest of the week.
  • Return to training — graded return after a pause.
  • Recalibrate / replan — threshold update or full rebuild as a reviewable diff.

Accept or dismiss

Proposals appear on Home and Plan. Read the rationale, accept to apply, or dismiss to keep the current calendar. The engine never silently rewrites your week.
